This Saturday Sports Spectrum features baseball, the NFL, and college football.
The San Francisco Giants are just about out of the playoff chase in the National League. But, they have opened some eyes in baseball with a talented group of young players. We talk with first baseman Travis Ishikawa.
The Miami Dolphins were the Cinderella story of the league last season. This year, the Dolphins are saddled with the league’s toughest schedule and are off to an 0-2 start. We visit with Miami linebacker Reggie Torbor. Torbor played collegiately at Auburn and won a Super Bowl ring with the New York Giants two years ago.
And, Christian athletes struggle with wanting their own plan over God’s plan. Maybe you do to. Which is better? Sports Spectrum chaplain, Bill Crowder, addresses the subject and it may be encouraging to you.
Finally, we hear from listeners by phone. We ask them to tell us the name of their favorite baseball manager of all time.
We talk about the NFL, Major League Baseball, and hear about your favorite baseball manager on the next Sports Spectrum Saturday.
